Production Platforms
The
existing seven platforms in the Philippines are all
located in offshore Northwest Palawan servicing the
Malampaya natural gas production and the Matinloc and
Nido oil production. The other platforms are shut-in
indefinitely.
Pipelines
Offshore NW Palawan, the Malampaya natural gas is
delivered to the onshore gas processing plant in
Batangas. The gas is then supplied through onshore
pipelines to Sta. Rita, San Lorenzo and Ilijan power
plants, all in Batangas province in Luzon.
Crude oil pipeline exists in the country and runs from
Batangas to Pandacan in Manila.
The proposed natural gas pipelines from Batangas to
Manila including spur lines will pass through economic
zones in Laguna province, south of Manila.
