About the S5
The Seminar/Workshop was organized by the Coordinating Committee for Geoscience Programs in East and South-east Asia (CCOP) Technical Secretariat, in cooperation with PETRAD and the Department of Mineral Fuels, Ministry of Energy Thailand (DMF-MOE) under the CCOP-Norway EPPM Program. The goal of the 4-year EPPM Program is to create the highest possible value for society from petroleum resources in order to improve the quality of life of the people in CCOP Member Countries.
This is the 5th Annual Seminar / Workshop (S5) that supports the technical activities of the EPPM Program and participated by representatives from the petroleum sectors from Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Korea, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. The objectives are to enhance the knowledge of the CCOP Member Countries with the current state-of-the-art in managing end of oil and gas concession period and decommissioning of installations and to disseminate the outcomes of the ASCOPE Decommissioning Guidelines project to the CCOP Countries.
