On 14 June 2010, the CCOP TS Director, Prof Dr He Qingcheng, along with the three Sector Coordinators paid a courtesy visit to the new Director-General (DG) of the Department of Mineral Resources (DMR), Thailand, Mrs. Pornthip Puncharoen. She was officially installed as the new DG of DMR on 28 April 2010...                      

The objectives of the Meeting are to develop the guidelines for the EPPM P3 Metadata System management & ways forward for the effective use and promotion of the system. A total of 13 participants from the CCOP Member Countries and CCOP Technical Secretariat participated in the meeting and discussions.  Also in attendance is Dr. Wang Chengxi of China Geological Survey (CGS)-  resource person and a key member of the CCOP Geoinformation Metadata  Standard  (GIMS) software development and training team.  Prof. Dr. He Qingcheng, Director of the CCOP Technical Secretariat (TS) opened the Meeting and warmly welcomed all participants.  Mr. Simplicio P. Caluyong, EPPM Program coordinator acted as chairperson of the Meeting.
