Courtesy Visit to New Permanent Representative of Thailand to CCOP
On 14 June 2010, the CCOP TS Director, Prof Dr He Qingcheng, along with the three Sector Coordinators paid a courtesy visit to the new Director-General (DG) of the Department of Mineral Resources (DMR), Thailand, Mrs. Pornthip Puncharoen. She was officially installed as the new DG of DMR on 28 April 2010 replacing Mr Adisak Thongkaimook. Mrs. Puncharoen will grace the upcoming EPPM P2W4 Workshop on Regulatory Framework for Carbon Capture & Storage to be held on 9 Jun to 1 Jul 2010 in Phuket, Thailand, being the new Permanent Representative of Thailand to CCOP. We are looking forward to see more of her in CCOP’s future activities, especially those to be organized in Thailand, anticipating a continued close cooperation between CCOP and DMR under her leadership.
