About Seminar 2 (S2)
The 2nd Seminar of the EPPM Program S2 aims to enhance the capabilities of the Member Countries (MC) about CCS regulations and strategies for public awareness. A discussion on the future plans of the Program and ways to enhance the networking among Member Countries were also in the agenda.
A total of 46 participants - national coordinators from the MC, management representatives from oil & gas agencies, national oil companies, research agencies, academic institutions, and CCOP Technical Secretariat. The participants represented the 9 MC (China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Vietnam). The representatives from academic and research institutions were from Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University, Asian Institute of Technology, Chiang Mai University, University of Malaya, University of Teknologi PETRONAS, University of the Philippines-NIGS, Petroleum Institute of Thailand, and the Office of Natural Resources and Planning Division-MONRE (Thailand). Also, 6 resource persons from Norway and CCOP Member Countries participated in the Seminar.
