This is the proceedings of the Thematic Session held at the 54th CCOP Annual Session on 30 October 2018 in Busan,
Republic of Korea, carried out under the theme “Geoscience for Future Earth: Beyond History Toward Mystery”.
There were a total of 47 papers for oral presentations and 11 papers for poster presentations delivered with about 150 participants at the Thematic Session. A total of 30 papers are included in this proceedings volume. The papers were grouped into four sub-themes, as follows:
Sub-theme 1: Geo-Information and Geoheritage;
Sub-theme 2: Geohazard Mitigation and Response;
Sub-theme 3: Climate Change and Adaptation; and
Sub-theme 4: Environment-Friendly & Smart Technology for Mineral and Energy Resources.
