Integrated Geophysical and Geochemical Data Processing Project (IGDP)

To keep CCOP Member Countries continuously benefit from modern information technology in geoscientific study and mineral exploration technology in the member country and around the world, China Geological Survey supports a project on software training for regional geophysical and geochemical data processing and mapping in mineral resource assessment and exploration.

Main courses:
  • Regional geophysical data processing and interpretation methodology and software training.
  • Regional geochemical data processing and mapping software training.
  • Application case study: geophysical and geochemical interpretation for minerals and oil & gas.

Activities

Products:
  • 3-6 persons from each member country to be trained as expert in the field of geophysical and geochemical data processing.
  • 2-3 packages of free software for each member country.
  • Demo and application with real data in 1-3 areas within the CCOP region, or for some regions or mining areas in member countries.
