CCOP, an intergovernmental organization with its Technical Secretariat based in Bangkok, Thailand, has a series of publications that are of interest to geoscientists, researchers, engineers, planners, resource utilization and land use planning decision makers, investors in energy and minerals and workers in environmental management. These publications are available for world wide promotion, sales and distribution.
This publication summarizes discussions and deliberations at the Annual Session Meeting, attended by Member and Cooperating Countries, Cooperating Organizations and Advisors, on projects and geoscientific activities for the year under review. Publications under this series are available from the first Proceedings in 1967 to Present.
This publication contains a collection of technical papers submitted for the Annual Session Meeting. These technical reports focused on current geological research and development in the fields of oil and gas, mineral resources, coastal zone management and geohazards in East and Southeast Asian region.
This publication is the report of CCOP project meetings which includes the papers of the participating countries focusing on the topic of the meeting.
The Technical Bulletin was first published in 1968. It continued to be published on a regular basis in recent years by the Geological Survey of Japan as an "in-kind" contribution to CCOP. The Technical Bulletin contains papers which are more comprehensive compared with papers in the Technical Proceedings.
This publication contains the technical papers presented at the Thematic Session of the CCOP Annual Sessions. This thematic session includes technical discussion on certain themes addressing strategic and critical issues faced in the CCOP region, thus serving as a forum for exchange on experiences and ideas among the CCOP Member and Cooperating Countries.
The Newsletter, first issued in 1974, is published on quarterly basis. It serves to disseminate information on on-going activities as well as planned projects of CCOP; to provide up to date information on CCOP in general; to serve as linkage between CCOP and outside concerns; and to enable short scientific notes, discoveries and findings to be published quickly. Contents include CCOP and related news and programs, exchange of information, a forum for publicizing academic, non-profit making activities and new publications, snippets regional and international news, scientific notes and summaries of technical and seminar reports.
After decades of geological, geophysical and other related studies in the region, CCOP commenced regional geoscientific map compilation from mid 1980s to meet the needs of Member Countries as well as international communities. These maps are available in hard copies and more recently in CD-ROM.
