CCOP-DMR Special Talk on World Bank Funded Mineral Exploration Project in Lao PDR


The Department of Mineral Resources (DMR) of Thailand and CCOPTS co-hosted the special talk on 9 February at the DMR Conference Room.  The presentation on “WORLD BANK-FUNDED PILOT GEOLOGICAL MAPPING PROJECT IN NORTHERN LAOS WITH THE AID OF HIGH RESOLUTION AIRBORNE GEOPHYSICS: METHODOLOGY AND INITIAL FINDINGS, was made by Mr. Peter Fiedfield, currently the leader of this project. He had a lot of experiences working with the British Geological Survey and had some field works with DMR on Southeast Asia Granitic Study during 1990s. The special talk was attended by 60 geoscientists from DMR and Department of Primary Industry and Mines (DPIM).
