A. Background and Objectives:
The CCOP Technical Secretariat in cooperation with KIGAM, will be conducting the National Coordinators Meeting and Technical Session on 22-23 March 2015. The objectives are to have a common understanding of the goal and objectives of the Project and to discuss the overall work plan. The agenda will include a technical session on the overview of black shale mapping in North America and reporting of the CCOP member countries on their shale potential. Invited resource persons will be coming from North America and CCOP member countries.
B. Participants and Resource persons:
- Representatives from oil and gas regulatory and supervisory agencies, research organizations, national oil and gas companies, geological agencies, environmental agencies, and academic institutions of CCOP member countries.
- Resource persons from North America and CCOP member countries.
